ABOUT ME

Hello. I'm Chustin Macaspac, though, I have an online presence under the username "chust1n" for sites such as Soundcloud, Youtube, and many online gaming platforms.

I've lived in San Diego all my life. It was here where I learned to play upright bass through my middle school orchestra program. This exposure to music led me to teach myself how to play guitar, bass, drums, piano, and ukulele. I liked to listen to things, not just music, but to video games, films, and even other people and what they had to say. Because of this, I was open to many opportunities such as playing in orchestral ensembles, jazz bands, metal bands, choirs, and musicals.

This passion eventually led me to The Art Institute of California - San Diego, where I completed my B.S. in Audio Production. It was there that I further developed my skills in music editing, mixing, recording, film scoring, composing, and sound design.

While it may seem that I have moved over to the production side of things, I am very much still a musician at heart, and I believe that's what makes my productions even better. To able to understand and bridge the connection between musicianship and audio production is key in my work, and I hope you find that as well.
